A time-honored and often overused cliché, The more I learn, the more I
realize how much I don’t know, is true today for those curious souls
hungering for more. It’s also true that an insatiable desire to understand
oneself and others’ motivation, personality traits, and worldview easily
becomes a lifelong addiction. Discovering more about the thoughts and
feelings inside you and the world around you will lead to greater
confidence, patience, and tenacity. However, this revelation begs the
question:
First, You might ask- What is the source of my energy and motivation for
reaching my important goals?
To that question, I suggest starting the process of identifying your personal
“WHY.” Let’s begin by answering the following three questions:
Where did I come from so I could better understand my
destiny?
What am I doing here so I can make the best use of my time?
Where am I going so I can find the right path to take?
Second, by converting false, failed, and unrealistic expectations. This way,
you may find a treasure trove of knowledge and understanding about
yourself and those around you. Instead of getting more classroom
education from those who have taught but have never succeeded, osmosis
may be a course to consider.
Osmosis is a system of unconscious assimilation of ideas, knowledge,
understanding, and wisdom from personal research and on-the-job
experience. Hands-on education often opens doors of favor and lays
opportunities at your doorstep. In other words, in most cases, you don’t
need more education- start where you are and learn by doing what you
enjoy.

What Is The Believer’s Advantage?
A prominent earmark of God’s creation is the merging of diversity and unity. For example, no two people have identical fingerprints. However, a thumb and four fingers, each a different size and skill, work together to accomplish remarkable feats. What’s more, they are designed by their Creator to do just that! For the human body to function correctly, it is always necessary to balance diversity with unity.
In the same way, Satan created diversity in the Garden of Eden when he deceived Eve into eating the forbidden fruit and introduced disunity into God’s creation. Adam’s disobedience has been passed on to every generation who’s tasted forbidden fruit. The outcome is a God size hole in every sinner’s heart that only God can fill.
Also, common to every man, woman, and child, is a conscious awareness of a higher being, force, or power who seeks to be known personally by each of us. That force is Jesus, who was so driven and committed to closing the gap between God and humanity that He submitted to taking on our sin, death by crucifixion, and our place in hell. Fortunately, His life was sinless, leaving Satan helpless to accuse Him of any wrongdoing. Therefore, after three days and nights, Jesus rose from hell and the grave to provide eternal life for all who believe.
To provide a heavenly home in His eternal Kingdom, He came into the world as an infant, grew to maturity, and in wisdom. Moreover, He gave the last 42 months of His life to training twelve disciples to introduce Him to others. The Apostle Paul drank from that spiritual fountain and was changed for life. In a short time, Paul realized that God’s purpose for him was to take Christ’s message of forgiveness and redemption to the known world of his day. He said, “But when it pleased God who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me by His grace, to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles (Paraphrase, Galatians 1: 15-16a). Paul said, regarding his countrymen, “I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh (Romans 9:3).
Regarding this, the prophet Isaiah mentioned a prophetic word years before Christ was born, saying, “Ho, everyone thirsty, come to the waters, and he that hath no money; come, buy, and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price” (Paraphrase- Isaiah 55:1, KJV). Salvation has always been free, but Jesus paid the price with horrendous human suffering. Eight centuries later, Jesus offers a Samaritan woman a drink from “the well of (Living) water that springs up into everlasting life” (Paraphrase, John 4:9-26).
However, try as one might, pleasing God and walking in His favor has proven futile when walking in the flesh (under human power versus God’s supernatural power, called GRACE). For this, it might be helpful to understand the three stages of SALVATION, as righteousness is vital to salvation from sin, iniquity, and corruption.
First, we are saved from the penalty of sin. This happens when we receive Christ’s righteousness by faith. Salvation isn’t by our works and efforts but by His Work on the Cross. (Galatians 2:20, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 4:1-3; 10: 9-13).
Second, we are saved from the power of sin. Once saved, with a new heart (living spirit), we must face three enemies: the world, flesh, and the devil. The good news is that God provides GRACE for overcoming all three enemies. Grace is God’s supernatural power that is available to us. To walk in victory, we need God’s Grace.
Third, We are saved from the very presence of sin. Heaven is a place where righteousness reins because there is no sin there. More will be said on this as we move forward in the days ahead.
This website is dedicated to respectfully and patiently winning over our family, friends, neighbors, and anyone we meet to Christ. Secondly, we are committed to overcoming Satan’s temptations, carnal attractions, and worldly distractions. We are committed to love what God loves and hate what God hates. He loves the sinner (an individual) but hates the sin of selfishness, greed, and corruption. To learn how to be an overcomer, stick with us and learn to master THE ADVANTAGES AVAILABLE TO EVERY BELIEVER
Emotional Intellegence
Are you searching for the most critical keys to spiritual and financial success, you know, those things you weren’t taught in high school or college? If your answer is yes, then you might start with emotional intelligence.
My recently published book on Emotional Intelligence (EI), How to Resolve Conflict, Find Purpose, and Create Wealth, might lay the foundation for reaching your goals. Jennifer Grasz, a writer for Career Builder, took on the challenge to research this subject. She concluded, “Seventy-one percent of employers say they value emotional intelligence over IQ.”
In my five years of reach, a little here and a little there, I discovered a little book entitled “Emotional Intelligence 2.0” by Travis Bradberry, Ph.D., and Jean Greaves, Ph.D. In their excellent work, the authors used the picture of a tree for visual support, that caught my eye. When I saw that picture, I recalled the passage in Psalm One, “And he shall be like a tree planted [roots implied] by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper.”
As I studied that picture, a ray of truth flashed before my mind. The picture had images of leaves on its branches but not a single image of fruit, nor were the roots visible. After the trunk and branches, a tree has three primary and distinct parts: roots, leaves, and fruit. By picturing the tree in my mind, I immediately knew how EI’s various facets would converge under one of these three concepts. Moreover, as the roots of a tree are unseen by the naked eye, the eight root competencies of emotional intelligence are hidden just under the surface of Biblical insight. I already knew that EI was influential in personal success across the board. After years of research, I know the three faces of EI and the eight root competencies tied to godly financial success.
Jesus began His public ministry with a manifesto for building a kingdom on earth as recorded in Matthew chapters five through seven, beginning with eight timeless, proven, cross-racial principles foundational and essential for success found in the first twelve verses of chapter five. Each principle engrafted into the believer’s life includes the promise of blessings. Strong’s dictionary of the New Testament identifies the Greek word for blessed as Makakrioos (Mark-ar’ -ee- os), defined as supremely blest (endowed), fortunate, well off, and happy.” Three out of four deal positively with one’s financial state and the fourth with one’s emotional state.
Once engrafted into your heart, the nine “Blessed Promises” will guide you toward prosperity and abundance. Still, this exercise will take some work and a little time. As proficiency with the multiplication table is an essential building block in mathematics, each root competency will be critical in developing Emotional Intelligence in your work and play.
